About us

Lauren and Matthew are both graduates of Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.  They hold Master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. They are trained in a unique blend of clinical based counseling and contemplative practices.  As psychotherapists Lauren and Matthew believe in healing through authenticity,  determination, and patience.  They believe in cultivating a non-judgemental, strengths-based modality that has the ability to nourish all clients.

Lauren and Matthew believe health plays a pivotal role in how clients move through their process. They promote a holistic model of healing which includes a healthy style of eating, exercising, and plenty of sunshine. While the therapeutic process can be demanding, Lauren and Matthew are here to guide you through every step of the way.  As Lauren and Matthew have experienced adversity in their own lives; they have a deep awareness of what it takes to truly heal from the inside out.  Lauren and Matthew are passionate about helping children and teens, and have dedicated their lives of being of service to others.

In their office Lauren and Matthew use mindfulness techniques, Gestalt, and body awareness to guide their clients.  Lauren uses play therapy as a way to connect with children and teens who have been adopted. She also offers parent coaching for those parents seeking support.  Matthew uses a blend of talk therapy mixed with body awareness to provide his clients with the guidance and support they need.

Matthew and Lauren are currently contracting with Play Therapy i.n.c. in Littleton, if you are interested in healing old wounds and unhelpful patterns, Lauren and Matthew can provide your child/teen a safe space to share their vulnerabilities. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
